The vehicle front was another issue. While we started the year with a new car, that did not last long as the insurance declared the car a total loss at the beginning of the year, when a speed demon broadsided John as he was leaving a grocery store parking lot. John was fine, thankfully, but shaken. Of course, the camera in the car proved he stopped at the stop sign but that did not prevent the speeder from hooking up with a personal injury lawyer and causing us a good deal of stress. Where does the time go?  Getting ready to put this holiday news update together, I realize how time flies.  But according to Einstein, time and space are relative so I will relate what has been going on since you last heard from us. What a year. You probably noticed we did not send out our usual holiday letter.  Between pandemic, politics, and general life stuff we decided since 2020 lasted until December 37th (aka Jan 6th) we declared January 20th to begin the New Year.  So, let’s hope for new beginnings and renewed health going forward.  Donna focused her art on the Covid series for the first half of the year. Donna was teaching as artist in residence aboard QM2 and we had a wonderful time. You can see us here in some of our cruise outfits. Keep in mind that on QM2 casual means jacket no tie for dinner.
