::NEWS:: Art Evolution Gallery is pleased to announce its premiere exhibit taking place October 12 through November 16th, 2024. The exhibit “Contemporary Realism” will feature artwork from local South Florida artists creating representational art in a variety of styles. The gallery, located in Chapel 4 at 200 SE 7th Ave., in Delray Beach Marina district has been r a hidden gem of a galley by art enthusiasts, collectors and visitors to the galley. For the past two years Chapel 4 has held exhibits of Plein Air artwork from Plein Air Palm Beach art group. While Art Evolution Gallery will continue to feature local plein air artists who are world class plein air artists, we will be expanding to include still life, figurative and other representational artwork in the contemporary realism style. All applications for exhibits are juried by a curatorial team ensuring savvy collectors can expect to find the best artwork available in the area. The Art Evolution Gallery will also have an online gallery for each exhibit showcased at the Chapel 4 location. While up in Vermont during the pandemic I was approached because of being known for plein air painting to see if I could do some art classes for some girls. The girls normally go to camp together but because of covid camp was suspended so one of the girls’ moms was creating safe opportunities. I contacted my painting buddy, Adrien and together we decided to do the camp day for the girls at Greater Barton Arts. We practiced social distancing art instruction, The girls were very motivated and produced some very nice artwork.
The Armory Art Center held the 4th Annual West Palm Beach Art Festival. Plein Air Palm Beach was asked to participate and to invite artists to paint during the event. We had fun time as one can see from these photos.
